A$AP Rocky’s LIU scholarship offers four years of tuition for one incoming student

Who the award is for

The award targets first-time freshmen entering the Roc Nation School in fall 2027. Applications close December 15, 2026; the announcement specifies no hour or time zone. [1]

Where to begin

Start at apply.liu.edu/rn. The official first step opens with LIU Brooklyn, Freshman and Fall 2027 selected. Its required written response asks what motivates the applicant to pursue music, sports or entertainment at the Roc Nation School; the field permits up to 2,048 characters. [2]

The form also provides an optional video-link field, with a maximum video length of three minutes. The video is an optional addition, not a replacement for the required written response. Follow the remaining university instructions and check all requirements before submitting. [2]

What students can study

The Roc Nation School’s program listings span music technology, entrepreneurship and production; vocal performance; sports management; and sports communication and marketing. Prospective students can compare the individual degree pages before deciding which course fits their goals. [3]

The scholarship provides a specific opportunity to fund study in that environment. It is not evidence that an applicant has already been selected or that admission is guaranteed. [1]

Keep separate scholarships separate

LIU also operates the Roc Nation Hope Scholarship. Its official page lists its own entrance qualifications and continuing criteria, including a completed FAFSA, a 3.0 minimum continuing GPA and at least 24 credits per year. Those are Hope Scholarship rules; they should not automatically be assigned to Rocky’s separate award. [4]
